Full Tour Description
The tour starts with a trip to the 14th Century Gothic Castle Bellver with its magnificent 360 views of the Palma de Mallorca city, the mountains and the harbour. Sweeping back down the hill to immerse yourself in the old historical Gothic Quarter with its maze of tiny streets, plazas and courtyards. The tour includes a visit the to the 13th century Gothic styled Cathedral La Seu with it 44 meter high nave and Baroque chapels, parts of the Cathedral where designed by the Catalan Modernist architect Antoni Gaudi.
The tour continues with a visit to the Gothic and Moorish Alumdaina Royal Palace once the home to the Kings and Queens of Majorca, followed by a drive down Passeig de Maritimo passing the exclusive yacht club, marina and the 15th century fish market Sa Llotja Exchange built by a local Majorcan architect Guillem Sagrera.
