Take the Train to Port Soller

Since in 1912 this little electric train has trundled the 30km or so to and from Palma to the Port of Soller. The train winds its way along the coast and through Serra de Tramuntana Mountains arriving at the pictures seaside town of Port de Soller for a guided tour of the port, old town and lunch.

Full Tour Description

The Soller Tram has changed very little over the years, powered by small electric motors, the vintage mahogany paneled carriages pass along the coast before heading inland into the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains. Passing through 13 tunnels and the beautiful Mallorcan country side arriving an 1½ hour later at the Port de Soller.

At Port de Soller your guide will take you on a tour of the Port and Old Town with its 14th Century house and Modernist buildings and there’s some free time for lunch or to have a drink at one of the many cafes, before either reboarding the train for your trip back to Palma or taking a return trip by coach.
