Full Tour Description

Leaving Palma you make your way in the hills and mountains, picturesque white washed houses and villages perched precariously on the side of cliffs, olive groves and vineyards pass by as you head into the mountains. First stop will be the village of Valldemossa and a tour of the Royal Carthusian Monastery, its most famous occupants were Frederic Chopin and the writer George Sand, this is then followed by a delicious lunch at a typical Mallorcan restaurant.

After lunch the tour makes its way into the winding hills and mountains with its captivating scenery following the coast road stopping for the views at the charming hill top village of Deia. At the town of Soller you will board the Soller train with its mahogany lined vintage carriages for 1½ hour ride through the dozen or so tunnels and stunning countryside back to Palma.
